About Advanced Sleeve
In 1992, Advanced Sleeve, a privately-owned company based in Mentor, Ohio, was founded with the vision of becoming the premier cylinder sleeve supplier in the Powersports industry. Advanced Sleeve specializes in the design and fabrication of cylinder sleeves for the high performance, replacement recreational, and racing industries providing products for the motorcycle, ATV, automotive (domestic and sport compact), outboard marine, PWC, and snowmobile markets.
Well respected in the industry for our design and production of high quality engine sleeves, we use cast iron, ductile iron, and aluminum in our manufacturing. The Advanced Sleeve team works closely with leading engine builders in the industry to develop and produce the highest quality cylinder sleeves available for the lightweight, high performance engine designs of today.
Current Career Opportunities:
First Shift Machinist Position
This position includes all aspects of setting-up, operating and maintaining one or more of our latest CNC turning or milling centers. It has further responsibility for in-process inspection and quality control.
Successful candidates must have at least 2 years of documented experience running CNC machinery with automated controls, preferably in the racing or metal-cutting industry. Applicants would further have to show proficiency in reading measuring instruments, i.e. micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers and in checking parts for quality control. Orientation to detail is a must. Managerial experience is preferred. Candidate must be able to lift 50-60lb containers to a height of 4 feet from ground level.

1st shift Industrial Engineering Position
Requirements/Duties
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology or a Manufacturing related four year degree.
- Proficient in Solid Modeling (Solid Edge/Gibbs Cam) Applicant will utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
- Work closely with managers, engineers, and other staff regarding technology strategy, common processes, and quality improvement efforts.
- Enthusiastic, self motivated, and knowledgeable of manufacturing systems.
- Carry out tasks involving improvements in process flow and fixturing (design and implementation). Knowledge of basic quality systems is a must.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office software such as Access, Excel, and Word.
